I hail from the least expected place a creative soul would rest, Las Vegas where I was born and raised and also began my career in fashion along side my brother Darion Famous.
When I look online and even when I go out everyone looks exactly the same, even the Instagram selfies are clones. How do you manage to stand out and stay true yourself?
I’ve really learned who I am as a woman and what I like (emphasis on I), so I’m not really looking for what the next chick is rocking I’m simply doing me. I believe that keeps me pure and authentic.
Your style is so unique and switches up a lot, How would you describe your style?
I only wear what makes me feel good one day it might be sneakers and jeans the next day it could be a dress and heels, but if I had to put a description to my style I would definitely say it’s girly meets tomboy.
You tend to mix different styles and pieces together yet in the end it all makes sense. What is your style tip to mixing and matching fashion?
Knowing what works for your body is first and then combining that with confidence. You have to be able to OWN it and have enough confidence in yourself to say I know this doesn’t make sense, but I know I can kill it.
I see that you did some styling in the past, Have you always wanted to be a stylist? Is that still a passion of yours?
I would say that it’s one of the many things I’m passionate about, but I have so many goals and dreams that I want to accomplish that I’m literally just planting seeds and watching them all grow.
If you could swap closets with anyone who would it be & why?
Kate Lanphear hands down! She’s edgy, confident and doesn’t miss style wise.
I feel as though rules in fashion can limit creativity in a way. However there are some rules that are very much needed. What is your take on the rules of the fashion world?
I think you have to create your own rules because if you get too caught up in these “rules” created by others you start to loose yourself in a sense.
In almost every picture you take I see denim. Would you say you're obsessed? If so then why?
I am slightly obsessed with denim preferably ripped denim it makes me feel bad ass
I’m great with scissors and a razor blade those are the only tools I use. I chose the D.I.Y. method because without that extra flair most clothes are boring to me.
I love all of the areas you shoot in. How do you go about picking a place to take your photos? Where was your favorite place to shoot?
Whenever I’m out my eyes are always scouting locations because my grind is that serious, most of the time I will snap a photo of the location and save it for the perfect outfit.
I've always said that music and fashion go hand in hand. What's on your playlists right now?
Right now I’m obsessed with Future and Travis Scott
I don’t! I know I’m putting myself on a platform to be judged and that’s that. My mantra is say what you want in these comments I’m slaying, you commenting.
What advice would you give to someone who's afraid to step out and dress for themselves instead of others?
At the end of the day you have to do what makes you happy at all times. When you step out into the world and aim to put your best foot forward style wise it’s has to be authentically yours or people are going to see right through it.
