Ok so the title of this post doesn't exactly exude pure motivation, however it needs to be said. We all dream of the things we want and come up with some really great ideas. The only issue is we tend to want to do it all by ourselves and end up being overwhelmed by the many different tasks at hand. There is this old saying " Jack of many trades, master of none" which basically means you can't master anything with a scattered focus. You must focus on one thing at a time and then master that skill before taking on the next. When you try to do too much at one time you can hardly get anything done. I recently experienced this when I was working on different upgrades for the blog and in return my blog posts went from 5 posts a week to 1 post every 2 weeks. After a while I began to wonder what use are the upgrades if my blog posts are suffering ? I came to understand that if I want to add new things I must make more important changes. One of the skills I need to master is proper planning! I have created a very detailed to do list and simplified all my tasks, as well as spreading these upgrades out. Now, this strategy works on all levels of goals whether you are a blogger like me, a student looking to get on the dean's list, it doesn't matter this will work for you. What would you like to accomplish? Has your goal been taking forever to concur? If so download this worksheet below and take the first step to narrowing your focus.
