Welcome back, I want to introduce you all to a new series called Finance Tip Friday. If you want to learn how to manage your money, buy anything you want, and maintain healthy spending habits then you'll love this new series. Growing up I was always really responsible with my money it came naturally to me as many other beneficial habits did. My friends and family were always curious how I got some of the most amazing deals, dressed so well, and kept money in my pocket. Now you have the opportunity to learn exactly how I did exactly that. My first pointer is to pay yourself. I know that sounds very vague but it's really not that complex. I literally mean to pay yourself. When you become an adult you'll notice how you constantly paying bills and rent. You may have heard people mention I can't afford that or I don't have any money to shop I have bills to pay. I encourage you to continue being responsible, but I also want you to realize the importance of paying yourself too. The next time you get paid I want you to take 10% of that and pay yourself. Once you start looking at it this way you'll be surprised how eager you become to put cash aside for you. If you feel like your budget is really tight then start off with something small like $10 and watch it build up overtime. One major benefit you will get out of doing this is the new appreciation you;ll have for your job. If you choose not to pay yourself you will begin to hate going to work and feel like a slave to landlords and bills. Think about this and I will meet you all back here next friday with another tip to advance your financial habits.
